BOSTON, August 12, 2014 – City Wine Tours today announces a new walking wine tour starting on August 30th featuring exclusively sparkling wines at local high-end restaurants – the first of its kind in Boston. Guests will enjoy Champagne, Prosecco and Spanish Cava sparkling wine with food pairings while they learn about how to taste, pair and buy sparkling wine as they walk around to local establishments in the Harvard Square area.

City Wine Tours, known as Boston’s best wine tour, leads guests on a walking journey through local wine destinations in four Boston-area neighborhoods, including award-winning restaurants and wine bars. Their new sparkling wine tour will feature exclusive, lavish restaurants for a more luxurious experience for tasting sparkling wines. Guests can expect to enjoy handpicked Champagne, Prosecco and sparkling wine selections, learn about new varietals and pick up unique bubbly wine knowledge along the way from educated tour guides.

City Wine Tours’ sparkling wine starts at the luxurious Nubar restaurant and lounge inside the Sheraton Commander, then brings guests to First Printer, home to the first printing press in the U.S. and ends at Finale, with a final indulgent dessert and taste of Veuve Clicquot Champagne.
