Since graduating from Harvard in 2007 Daniel has pursued a career as a travel entrepreneur in Cambridge, Boston & New York. Daniel was inspired to create City Wine Tours by a particularly great wine tasting in the North End. His passions include playing the piano, community development, & improving his golf game.
Co-Founder & COO
Rick Goldberg loves drinking wine and creating great customer experiences. He’s worked as a strategy and innovation consultant at Monitor Deloitte and as Head of Strategy & Customer Experience at a major national retailer. He also co-authored the Harvard Business School case “Pret A Manger” about delivering excellent customer service.
CFO & Director of Sales
Carroll Ann has graduate degrees from Princeton Seminary & the University of Virginia. She has four children ages 12-22. She homeschools and travels the world with her husband and kids, spending several months a year in India to study Ashtanga Yoga. She is a yoga teacher in Charlottesville, VA and loves vegetarian cooking & reading post-colonial historical fiction.
Chief Wine Ambassador
Wes got his start in the wine business as a telemarketer, and later honed his knowledge as GM of The Wine Gallery—a chain of local wine shops—for six years, winning Boston Magazine’s “Best Wine Shop” accolades in 2007 and 2008. Afterward, he crisscrossed the state as a wine consultant for Café Europa Wines and Monsieur Touton Selections.
Chief of Staff
Melisa joined City Wine Tours as Chief of Staff to focus on employee performance, satisfaction, and processes. Prior to joining CWT she worked in the healthcare field for 6 years primarily in project management roles, most recently at Boston Children’s Hospital. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and Jack Russell Terrier (Taz), hiking and spending time outdoors, cooking, trying new recipes, and traveling.
Chris began his career in tourism with City Wine Tours while still at Boston College. After graduating in 2016, he made it his full-time job to provide people with an incredible wine experience! When he’s not answering all of your questions over the phone, you can find him relaxing to music or practicing his tennis serve!
Back in 2010 Adam helped to grow the small business known then as “Unofficial Tours” doing marketing, giving tours, and eventually overseeing The Hahvahd Tour operations. After moving to New York City for several years and working as a Senior Interpretive Guide at the National 9/11 Memorial & Museum, he returned to Cambridge to take up his current role at Trademark.
Christian Co-founded CWT leading operations and sales partnerships during the company’s initial launch and expansion throughout the Boston area. Christian currently serves as Founder & CEO of Doorbell Barbers & Doorbell Salon, an on-demand, in-home beauty company based in CT. He is a graduate of Marymount Manhattan College and an Eagle Scout.
